As a missional church family, we are on-mission globally to partner with indigenous, Jesus-following churches and organizations of similar mind, heart and evangelistic vision for their local communities. As we partner with the global movement of God, we are actively living at the intersection of the Jesus-taught prayer (Mt 6) and the revelation of John: thy multi-tribal and multinational Kingdom of God coming on Earth as it is in heaven (Rev 21)!
We are on mission all the time, everyday, everywhere we can be. Missions is in our DNA, because it’s in God’s; when we put our faith in Jesus, God’s heart for the world now beats within our hearts. As a church family, we support four central global missions initiatives specifically in Cambodia and Kenya, with prayer, financial resources and short-term missionaries. We trust that God has led us specifically to these needs, and thus channel nearly 20% of our budget to them:
Cambodia: Orphanage – in partnership with Asia’s Hope, we provide a loving home and parents to more than 20 children and young adults who otherwise would be vulnerable to human trafficking. Learn more here.
Cambodia: School – Agape International Missions (AIM) and a missionary from Vista, Jen Morgan, work together to fund a village school in Svay Pak, one of the most prevalent human trafficking cities on the globe. Our efforts help recruit and train Jesus following teachers who teach elementary students who otherwise would be sold into sex slavery during the hours they’re attending classes. Learn more here.
Cambodia: Factory – A new initiative, The Factory is a project we’re rallying prayer and funding for, as a micro-enterprise to employ young women from Phnom Penh, to give them skills, resources and access to a better life, void of selling themselves to make a living. Learn more here.
Kenya: Church Planting – We partner with Pastor Daniel Wekesa of Restoration Revival Churches, to raise up new pastors and church leaders and plant churches in the West Kenya region. Learn more here.
